My house was built in the 70s and I'm pretty sure the attic insulation hasn't been touched since then, I'll try to work on it but I need some knowledge and motivation

Welcome to the forum. Attic insulation from the 70s is definitely worth updating. Not only can it make your home more comfortable, it can also save on energy bills. Start by checking the current insulation type and depth, then decide if you need to add more or replace it. Take it step by step and don’t hesitate to ask here if you have questions along the way.
