Tiny house exterior is spray cork a good option?

I'm thinking about using spray cork for natural insulation on my tiny house and have a few questions. How well does it insulate? How does it hold up to hail and other weather? If you've used it, what was your experience like? Any idea of costs or maintenance needed?

Expect to pay around $3–$5 per sq ft for installation, give or take, based on what you pick and who you hire. DIY kits are an option, but prep the surface right. Quick touch-ups are simple. If it's always in the sun or bad weather, consider resealing it every few years.

@Quietwall yeah, spray cork is awesome for air sealing and a decent thermal break, but don't expect it to hit Rvalues like foam or thick batts. It's more about mass and thermal mass stabilization than raw Rpower. If you're building a tiny house, you might need supplemental insulation inside your walls unless you're in a very mild climate

I’ve seen spray cork work well as a breathable, flexible coating with decent insulation, but it’s not a magic bullet. It handles weather surprisingly well if applied properly, though heavy hail can still do some damage over time

Spray cork gives moderate insulation and good sound proofing, but it’s not as strong as foam or mineral wool.
It handles normal weather fine, but needs a proper outer layer for hail or harsh conditions.
