Garage insulation

I finally managed to make my garage and I'm looking to insulate it. At the moment it's just a concrete slab with a wooden construction for the walls and roof. What would you suggest?

I built my garage last fall with the same setup, concrete floor and wood frame. I used rigid foam boards for the walls and mineral wool in the ceiling since it handles moisture well. Added a vapor barrier and sealed the gaps with spray foam. It stays warm and dry now, even in winter.

You should also consider whether you want to focus more on keeping the garage warm in winter or cool in summer when choosing your insulation

Where are you located? If you're in a cold area, you'll definitely want to think about getting higher R-values and paying a bit more attention to those vapor barriers.

For walls and ceilings, try fiberglass batts, mineral wool batts like Roxul, rigid foam boards and spray foam. For concrete slab floor, I suggest Insulating the concrete slab is a critical step, especially if you plan to heat the garage or spend a lot of time in it. Concrete is very porous and can easily transfer cold and moisture from the ground.
