So, I recently chatted with a spray foam contractor, and he gave me a few bags full of Demilec open cell spray foam trimmings. He suggested I might be able to just toss them out on my attic floor like loose-fill insulation. At first, it sounded kind of cool, but honestly, I haven't been able to find much solid info online to see if that would actually work
Has anyone out there tried using open cell trimmings for insulation this way? I'm curious abt how well it performs. Or does anyone have any reliable info about using leftover spray foam like it's loose-fill? I would really appreciate any tips or expereinces you might have
