Should I add a vapor barrier?

While repainting my master bedroom, which stays cold in winter and hot in summer, discovered two interior walls with no insulation. I'm planning to add pink foam, but do I also need a vapor barrier, especially on the bathroom side?

If the bathroom side has moisture exposure, then a vapor barrier is definitely a good idea to prevent condensation in the wall. But be sure it faces the warm side of the insulation.

Good find! If the wall is next to the bathroom, it's a good idea to add a vapor barrier. It helps stop moisture from getting into the insulation and causing mold. Put the barrier on the warm side of the wall, facing the bedroom. Pink foam is a great way to add extra insulation too!

Pink foam's great, but slap a vapor barrier on the bathroom side unless you want your walls sweating like a marathon runner in July

Thanks for the advice, I'll make sure to install the vapor barrier on the warm side to block moisture from the bathroom.

Yeah putting the vapor barrier on the warm bedroom side should protect the insulation from bathroom moisture. I'll go ahead with the pink foam too.
