Damp and moldy crawl space

I'm dealing with a damp and moldy crawlspace under my 2000 sq ft home and could use some advice from this community. I have vents, but they've been open all the time, and it seems to have made the problem worse. The moisture is so bad I'm worried about my floor insulation and the wood joists. I know a dehumidifier is the solution, but I'm looking for recommendations on the best type for a space this size, especially one that can handle the humidity without freezing up in cooler months. I want to protect the insulation I'll be replacing and prevent this from becoming a recurring issue. What are your thoughts on different brands and setup for a long-term solution? Thanks in advance for all your advice and insights!

Get a dehumidifier specifically rated for crawlspaces, something with automatic defrost to handle cooler temps. Brands like Aprilaire and Santa Fe are well reviewed for long term use, make sure you have to seal the vents and lay down a proper vapor barrier first, or the dehumidifier will be fighting a losing battle

What size and capacity of dehumidifier would best handle your crawlspace's humidity year-round without freezing up?
